Introduction

When unpacking the cobot arm it comes in a packing position that makes it fit in the protective foam.

Once the arm is mounted and connected it MUST be unpacked/unfolded in order to be used.

Also when packing back the arm it needs to be packed so the arm fits again into the protective foam.

  1. DO NOT turn on the servo or use the cockpit when the robot arm is in a packed position.
    • DO NOT turn on the servo or use the cockpit when the robot arm is in a packed position.

    • Once the robot is out of the box and mounted, turn on the controller and teach pendant.

    • Tap on Status

  2. Servo should be off
    • Servo should be off

    • Once the servo is off, Tap on the ''Recovery button ''

  3. Tap on Pack/Unpack tab
    • Tap on Pack/Unpack tab

  4. Enable Packing Mode (it should turn on the servo automatically)
    • Enable Packing Mode (it should turn on the servo automatically)

    • Manually turn on the servo by tapping on the Servo On if necessary

  5. Tap and hold Unpack until the arm is fully extended.
    • Tap and hold Unpack until the arm is fully extended.
